hen I first began freelancing, I had no clue where to look for work. There were a few job boards here and there, and when Craigslist first began it only covered San Francisco. It wasn’t easy for a new writer to find work back then, now I think it’s much easier.
I don’t really troll the job boards as much as I used to, though I do try and see what’s out there. When I look for jobs I usually visit the aforementioned Craigslist and ProBlogger. If I have time, I’ll give Indeed a whirl. I’m past the point where I need to do the daily troll, however.
So where do you look for work? Do you peruse the local newspapers or check out listings on line? Do you go to more corporate job boards such as Monster, or is Craigslist more your speed?
